It’s not often you come across a special bear like Basil.  I rescued him and he arrived in quite a dirty state needing repair and tlc.  I have repaired and replaced his broken bits to give him a well deserved new chapter in life.  He has stolen my heart, but now he has a new journey ahead of him with a new loving home 💕
Basil is a rather cheeky fellow with a glint in his eye and a smile that breaks your heart.  He is a sturdy dependable companion.  He is 10 inches from ear to paw, stuffed with woodwool with faux leather pads.   His joints are wired which is typical of some early bears as well as sewn.  He wears a new handknitted pair of dungarees which have been aged.
Basil is looking for a forever home, somewhere he can live out this new chapter in his golden years.
