Edmund has worked all his life, and has recently retired from being a postmaster at the village post office.  He was finding it harder to read the small print on letters and parcels, and his achy knees were begging him to sit down.  So now he prefers to read the newspaper and sort the washing instead of the post, but he does pop in to the post office once in a while to check that things are ticking along!
Edmund is a large hug at 13 inches from ear to paw.  He is made from a beautifully soft long Steiff Schulte mohair.  He is fully jointed. His belly is filled with steel shot and soft pellets for weight and sagginess. The rest of him is filled with polycotton fibrefil for soft huggability.  He is a nice sturdy weight.  He wears a length of genuine Harris tweed for his scarf, a rusty bell and the key to the post office cupboard.  
Edmund is a collectors bear and not suitable for children.
